Natural Cures For Asthma

Asthma is a chronic condition that affects nearly 18 million people in the U.S. Asthma can negatively affect quality of life and treatments are constantly being developed and explored. Many people want to know if there are actually natural cures for asthma that actually work.

Most natural cures for asthma are preventive in nature and can be very effective for most asthma sufferers. By utilizing these natural remedies, you will also be healthier. Before we get into some of the more popular cures, the most important thing you can do to immediately reduce your symptoms is to eat as healthy as possible and try to stay away from foods that are heavily processed.

I have seen people who had severe asthma and did not realize that the foods they eat play a huge role in triggering asthma symptoms. Some people actually do not need to do anything further. By simply changing their diet and eating natural foods, they essentially eliminated any symptoms of asthma.

One of the most popular natural cures for asthma and probably the most effective that I have seen is Apple Cider Vinegar. Simply take a tablespoon after meals and at bedtime. Some people need to dilute with water but I like to take it as is. It has a strong taste but you will get used to it after a short time.

Another simple thing that is effective for many people is taking a cold shower. This will help with circulation and the moisture from the shower is good for the lungs. What you can do is take a warm shower and then near the end, turn the knob to cold and direct the water to your chest. It is not known why this works for people but it is undeniable that most people get good results with this technique.

There are many more natural cures for asthma but these are two of my favorites. Just realize that not all cures, treatments or remedies are effective for everyone. Every individual is different and will see unique results. We will be discussing several more treatments on this site so make sure you explore.
